From 2014 to 2023, Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans was PangeaSeed’s pioneering public art program, harnessing the power of art to bring the oceans into the streets around the world. Collaborating with some of today’s most renowned contemporary artists, we created over 500 large-scale murals that raised awareness of critical environmental issues facing our oceans.
While Sea Walls has concluded as a formal program, its legacy of fostering ocean empathy and inspiring action continues to inform PangeaSeed’s mission of bridging art and science. We remain committed to producing murals and public artworks that spotlight the need for ocean conservation, engaging communities worldwide.
