Ever’s mural on Cozumel’s city hall building encapsulates the notion that the economy and livelihoods of the island, as well as Mexico as a whole, are entwined with the ocean. In order for their people to prosper, we must all work together to ensure that we treat our life-support system with respect and foresight for future generations.
