Story Behind This Mural
The importance of supporting marine science and exploration is greater than ever. The oceans are the life-support system of our planet; yet, we have explored less than 5% of our seas. Jacques Cousteau famously said, “people protect what they love, and we love what we understand,” and at PangeaSeed Foundation, we fully agree.
Science and art are interconnected. By taking the oceans into the streets worldwide via large-scale public art and activism, we have an awesome opportunity to engage individuals and communities with science and data in a creative manner.
