This work illustrates how we are all connected to the ocean and its inhabitants. What we do has a profound effect on this fragile environment, and we have yet to see the true scale of the harm we have already caused by overfishing, polluting the atmosphere and dumping centuries of (wo)man-made waste. My hope is the viewer will experience this connectivity by letting their eyes wander through this dense composition, discovering the hidden gems that float on, or lie just beneath the surface.
