Story Behind This Mural

Artist Statement

Plastic straws are one of many serious problems polluting the ocean. Plastic pollution is a terrifying threat to sea creatures. It chokes and kills ocean animals while damaging the environment for ourselves and future generations.

Don’t we want our grandchildren to be able to enjoy healthy oceans and abundant marine life in the future?

Marine life are the ones who have do suffer most from the unregulated and irresponsible use of plastic by people all over the world. We must be responsible for our choices.

I encourage everyone, and those who experience my mural on Nusa Penida, to reduced their plastic consumption and lead by example. Together, we can help save our oceans and reduce the damage we have already caused.
