Artist Statements
My mural encapsulates multiple different ocean matters including overfishing, plastic pollution, deep sea oil drilling, rising sea levels and many more different facts and solutions alongside my illustration. I wanted to focus on highlighting the many varied challenges our oceans are facing at the moment, all adding up to one gigantic problem. The primary task we have ahead is educating and changing humans attitudes towards all of these issues. If we can get that right, there is hope for all creatures and life in the ocean and planet earth.
