Sea Walls Tairāwhiti

For the third year in a row, the Sea Walls program returned to New Zealand to activate a new community. This time, we had the honor of being welcomed by the town of Gisborne or Tairāwhiti where we beautified the streetscape with large-scale murals that speak to issues pertinent to the conservation of our oceans locally and across the planet.

More About the Project

Back to the Roots

As part of our artist experience, we organized an outing for our team to experience the art of celestial navigation. An indigenous skillset at risk of extinction, we wanted to honor the wisdom that lies in native knowledge to inform our modern ways.
